Double Sided Aluminium Foil Vapor Barrier consists of two layers of Aluminium Foil,one layer of high strength Kraft and one layer of fiberglass reinforcement and laminated together by special flame retardant adhesive,suitable for roof and wall insulation of house,warehouse,cold ctorage,factory. This kind of facing material is an ideal barrier for roofing cavity.It can reflect up to 95% of radiant heat entering . It also acts as vapor barrier keeping your cavity from condensation and corrosion .Alu foil facing is generally laminated with glass wool or rock wool blanket , board , and pipe etc . It works as an ideal jacket to protect insulation materials and enhance their insulation effect . For example , it works as vapor barrier to keep the insulation materials from condensation .Then keep the insulation materials’ good R-value . The foil works as a barrier to reflect up to 95% of radiant heat entering . It’s effect is especially significant when the facing is applied to your roof cavity. Of course , as all jackets do , the facing can also protect the insulation materials from physical damages. This facing is heat-sealing . It can adhere to the insulation materials directly . No extra adhesive is needed .
